Peter Tavy Dartmoor

Peter Tavy is a pretty village on the western side of Dartmoor. Its name comes from the dedication of its church to St Peter and the river Tavy which forms the western boundary.

Peter Tavy Murders - Dartmoor Legend, over 100 years ago the village witnessed one of Dartmoor most violent crimes, the murders of Emma Doidge and William Rowe.

Dartmoor National Park
