Haytor Vale is a small pretty hamlet in the parish of  Ilsington.  Haytor, Haytor Rocks and Haytor Quarry are very close by and are popular with walking groups and Dartmoor Letterboxers.  Haytor is probably the most well know of all the Dartmoor Tors.

Haytor Vale has an old coaching inn which offers excellent dining and accommodation in a beautiful country setting.
